English Heritage Buildings focuses solely on manufacturing structural oak framed buildings. 

With over 30 years experience, our area of expertise is in the design, specification and production of your oak frame. We continually look to develop and perfect our product; keeping up with current building techniques and regulations. Our steadfast dedication to improvement has seen us win many awards and we are still the only oak frame manufacturer to have achieved Q-Mark certification from BM TRADA. Our Green Oak Building System BSYS-006 is also recognised as a NHBC accepted MMC system.

We can design manufacture and supply your oak frame building not only here in the UK, but across Europe or even worldwide.

Assembly, roofing and groundworks

There are certain services you will require to bring your project together, including groundworks, frame assembly and roofing.

We will supply your frame with full fitting instructions for you or your contractors to erect. We will also provide the relevant measurements you will need for the groundworks and roofing.

Alternatively, we can put you in touch with assembly contractors that have been erecting our oak frames for over 20 years. They can also undertake the roofing, if you do not have a local contractor, and cover most areas of the country.

Within our quotation we will provide a guide price for these services, which can also help give you an idea of costings should you wish to source your own contractors.

  • This oak framed house was designed for a customer in Herefordshire and is comprised of two different frames. The first frame has five bays, three of which have full length glazing to the front, and the other two are enclosed garage bays, accessed via two sets of garage doors to the right hand side. The three glazed bays have three sets of opening garden room windows to the front, and a barn entrance with a gable roof end with four full length windows. The roof has trimming for two rooflights. The smaller frame to the left hand end is a single bay with a glazed gable end to the left and a half glazed door to the front, as well as a mullion window.
