How we design and build your outdoor kitchen pergola

Once you have selected a design and had it confirmed with one of our builders, we will begin preparing your pergola. At the beginning of construction, each piece of timber goes through a unique grading process to ensure the oak is of the highest quality and meets our Q-Mark standards. The timber is then transported to your property in kits, unloaded and then assembled on-site.

Your pergola will likely be installed within the day or two days depending on the size. Once installed, your pergola can be enjoyed immediately. For some inspiration on your designs, why not take a look through our gallery?

FAQs

Is your construction process COVID-19-friendly?

All precautions and safety measures have been taken to ensure our team operates safely during the construction and installation of your kitchen pergola. Our team wears masks and maintains social distancing to ensure our customers’ and our staff’s safety.

Do you offer call-outs to assess sizing?

If you’re unsure whether your pergola will fit or can be properly installed outside your kitchen, we can send one of our consultants to identify what can and can’t be done. This way, your kitchen pergola is guaranteed to fit and you won’t run into any sizing issues. If you are working with limited space, our consultant will be able to alter your original design to fit within the dimensions of your outdoor space.

Where and how is your wood sourced?

The timber we use to construct outdoor kitchen pergolas comes from France, where our trees are grown in sustainable forests. For each tree we fell for construction use, we plant another in its place. All timber we use to construct outdoor kitchen pergolas adheres to the TRADA quality specifications.

Are assembly costs included in my quote?

Your quoted price includes the construction, transportation, installation and all plant and lifting requirements and equipment (this is usually charged extra, but we discount it from our service). There are no hidden fees or costs, what you’re quoted at the beginning is what you pay at the end. The only exception to this rule is if you change your mind about your design during construction.

What other considerations will affect the cost of my kitchen pergola?

Kitchen pergolas are relatively simple structures to assemble. However, when looking at price, you should consider the following:

– How you’re going to use your pergola
– The size of your pergola
– Access and security requirements of the building.
– Location of building in relation to boundaries which affect fire protection requirements

We will always help you find the best price for your outdoor pergola, if you have any questions about cost, please do not hesitate to ask.

How long will my kitchen pergola take to deliver?

Once we have received confirmation from you that you are happy with the design of your new building (deposit payment together with signed drawing, quotation and terms & conditions) then delivery is normally around six to eight weeks.

What are the maintenance requirements for my kitchen pergola?

As all of our outdoor kitchen pergolas are made from French oak, maintenance requirements are extremely low. Oak is able to warp and adapt to its environment, meaning as it dries, your pergola is strengthened. You can choose to paint your pergola, but to maintain the appearance of a fresh coat, this will have to be repainted regularly.
